Form 9. Term 2. Card 1.

Form 9. Term 2. Card 1.

1. Why is the art of face-reading gaining popularity?
2. What kind of people do you like? Why?
3. Do you agree that people with thin lips are determined? Why/Why not?
4. What kind of people don’t you like? Why ?

Many people believe that the shape of a persons lips can say a lot about them so the 5,000- year-old art of face-reading is gaining popularity. They say that if you take a look at the shape of someone's lips you can find out about their personality. For instance, people who have a thin upper lip and a full lower lip are energetic and like participating in a lot of activities. They are ambitious as well as they want to be successful in life.

I think everyone wants to be surrounded by friendly and polite people who are easy to deal with.
I  like responsible people as you can always trust them to do what you ask them to do. Such people are reliable and they will never let you down.I respect intelligent people who understand difficult subjects quickly and easily. I also like generous people who love giving things to other people and helping them. They say that these people usually have lips with down-turning corners.

According to the art of face reading, people with thin lips are determined. I know some people with thin lips and I fully agree with this statement.Such people know what they want and they do all they can to get it. They are also careful people who do their work with a lot of attention and thought. However, they tend to be reserved, they don't like showing their feelings or expressing their opinions.
They can also be mean as they don't like sharing things or spending money.

I don't like mean or greedy people. They can't be good friends. I dislike self-centred people as they seem to only care about themselves and forget about other people's feelings. No one likes bossy people who like telling other people what to do. Sensitive people are difficult to deal with as well. They get upset easily so you should always be careful of what you say to them.
Probably, there are no people without drawbacks. I think it's important to be aware of your drawbacks and try to get rid of them.
